New collection from Nars

I got a sneak preview of some new products to by launched in May when I had a chat to one of the fantastic makeup artists from Nars on Monday.  I took a quick sneaky picture on my phone so you can't see the colours very clearly but let me tell you they are brilliant.

Firstly I'm very excited to announce Nars will be bringing out their famous Laguna bronzer in a multiple stick....what took them so long?!

And a stunning new duo eye shadow "Dogon" which is similar to a discontinued duo "Rajastan" but with just a bit more punch.  It's the duo on the left in the picture below,  it's looks deceptively black and grey on the poorly lit pic but it has more of a bluey/greeny tone to it.   The duo on the right is "Exotic Dance" which is a beautiful gold and silvery white shade.  And to achieve those bright eyes on trend for spring/summer they have created the blue/green eye shadow trio in "Cap Ferrat"  And the new highlighting blusher "New Order" which is the pink one in the back.

Look out for these new beauties in stores soon....

Cemetery shoot

Today we shot in Abney Park Cemetery, it was equally cool and creepy.  I absolutely loved, loved, loved the styling,  beautiful pieces from Louis de Gama and Katrina Ferrari  and jewellery from Emilie Morris ....  I want it all!!!


This shoot will be published in the fall issue of Astonish Magazine so unfortunately I can't publish the pictures until it has been in the mag, the behind the scenes shots will have to do for now.

Glitter in the forest

Had a really lovely shoot yesterday, it was a beautiful girly, flowery, glittery kind of shoot.  For the make-up I took inspiration from the spring/summer trend of bold bright colour, I used Barry M dazzle dust in a purple shade all over the lid, and I kept the skin very dewy with pinky lips and cheeks.  It was all very romantic and feminine.

A diary of Summer

Beautiful....

Here is a sneak preview of a photo shoot I did with brilliant photographer Rob Jarvis a couple of weeks ago.  The day started off as a bit of a disaster when both models didn't turn up due to a problem at the agency, but Rob rang up Profile model agency and they sent us Bria and she turned out to be absolutely perfect for the look we all wanted.

I’m sure you’ll agree she looks amazing.  I can’t wait for the final shots....watch this space!

Darphin world exclusive

For the next two months the new Melaperfect from Darphin will be available exclusively at Space NK.
